Welcome Back to our Garden Tours
at Government House

While the gardens at Government House are open to the public free of charge, The Friends offer guided walking tours for those looking for a more in-depth visit.

The tours visit most of the 20+ gardens on the estate and provide information about the landscape, trees, unique plants, history, and how the gardens are cared for by 200+ volunteers.

Guided tours of 45 to 90 minutes cost $10 per person with a minimum fee of $50 for five or fewer. (The fee helps to support the work of the Society.)

Visitors to the Nursery next week will receive a free bon bon calendula plant. Its yellow or orange, single or double daisy-like flowers will add some colour as it blooms from late summer into fall. At the check-out area while quantities last.

This is also a great time to plant herbaceous perennials as they will focus on growing roots and be well established and ready to grow in the spring.
