Garden Tours at Government House

While the gardens at Government House are open to the public free of charge, the Friends offer guided walking tours upon request for those looking for a more in-depth visit. There is no fixed tour schedule.

The guided tours cost $15 per person with a minimum fee of $75 for five or fewer people. The tour fee helps to support the work of the Society and is waived for some groups, e.g. from a school or university.

The tours, which can last from 45 to 90 minutes, visit most of the 20+ gardens on the estate and provide information about the landscape, trees, unique plants, history, and how the gardens are cared for by 200+ volunteers.

For  further information, and to schedule a tour, contact tour guide co-ordinator, Arthur Timms at a.timms@shaw.ca or 250-370-5154.
