Garden Tours

Tour guides (from left): Leslie, Julia, Janet, and Gerry ready to show visitors the splendours of GH gardens.

Government House gardens are open to the public free of charge.
The Friends, however, offer a more in-depth visit through its
guided tours which cost $15 per person with a minimum fee of $75 for five or fewer people.
The tours can last from 45 to 60 minutes, and visit most of the 20+ estate gardens.
Visitors will learn about the landscape, trees, unique plants, history, and how the gardens are cared for by the Society’s 300+ volunteers.

The fee supports the work of the Society and is waived for some groups, e.g. those from a school or university.  Contact co-ordinator Leslie to schedule a tour at Flowerspinkandblue@gmail.com  .
